The Royal Opera House (www.roh.org.uk) in London’s Covent Garden is one of the most famous stages in the world for opera and ballet.  The iconic theatre is home to both The Royal Ballet and The Royal Opera, with more than 290 performances being given in the main auditorium each year. Both Companies perform the great classic works in the repertory as well as commissioning new works by contemporary composers and choreographers. More than 900 staff work at the Royal Opera House in areas ranging from lighting, costume making, set building and scenic art, marketing, finance, box office, IT and fundraising.
